Actress Katrina Kaif tests positive for COVID-19
New Delhi: Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif on Tuesday said that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The actor took to her Instagram story to share the information. “I have tested positive for Covid-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I’m following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors,” Katrina wrote on Instagram.
The 37-year-old actor further requested the people who have come in her contact to undergo COVID test immediately. “Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care,” she added.
Katrina will be next seen in ‘Sooryavanshi’ with Akshay Kumar that will hit the silver screen on April 30. The 53-year-old Kumar, who is in the lead in this movie has also been infected by the COVID-19 and is currently hospitalized as a precautionary measure.
On Monday, actors Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar, who are shooting for Shashank Khaitan’s film, ‘Mr Lele’, had also tested positive for the virus. Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Govinda and Alia Bhatt are among those celebs who have tested positive during the second wave of COVID-19. (UNI)
