Popular TV actor Gaurav Khanna, best known for his role in Anupama, has emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Season 19 after defeating finalist Farrhana Bhatt in a closely watched finale.

““It still hasn’t sunk in. The feeling is surreal. I received immense love throughout the journey. What makes me happiest is that I remained true to myself. I was the same person inside and outside the house — no pretence, no fakeness — and people appreciated that,” Khanna told PTI.
Khanna, also known for his performances in CID, said the defining moment of his journey was when Salman Khan expressed his desire to work with him.
When asked about his plans for the prize money, the actor said he intends to make smart investments, putting his MBA knowledge to use.

Season 19, which began on August 24, saw Farrhana Bhatt finish as the first runner-up. Bhatt, who has acted in films such as Laila Majnu and Notebook, said she was grateful for the love she received from viewers.
“I never fixated on the trophy. I focused on doing my best and giving 100 per cent. Seeing the audience’s love after coming out erased any disappointment. Trophies can be won by anyone — I’ve won hearts, and that’s enough for me,” she said.

Stand-up comedian Pranit More secured third place, while content creator Tanya Mittal finished fourth and music composer Amaal Malik took the fifth spot.
