Bobby Deol-Starrer ‘Bandar’ Trailer Crosses 10 Million Views in 48 Hours
The trailer of Bandar, starring Bobby Deol, has created a massive buzz online by crossing 10 million views on YouTube within just 48 hours of its release.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the trailer has delivered an exceptionally strong digital performance, reportedly generating engagement levels nearly six times higher than the usual benchmark for films in this category. Interestingly, audience engagement has continued to rise steadily instead of slowing down over time — a rare trend for large-scale Hindi film campaigns.

Released on May 21 at 12:36 pm, the trailer has already accumulated more than 29,000 watch hours along with nearly 43 million impressions on YouTube. The figures highlight sustained audience curiosity even days after launch.
Out of the total impressions, around 34.8 million came through Discovery surfaces, while another 7.3 million were generated from in-stream placements. This suggests the trailer is being widely pushed through YouTube’s recommendation system and is organically reaching a massive audience.

One of the most notable aspects of the campaign is that no paid comment promotion was reportedly used. According to the makers, all audience reactions and discussions in the comment section are completely organic — something considered uncommon in major Bollywood promotional campaigns today.
The nearly three-minute-long trailer has also posted impressive retention numbers. With an average watch duration of approximately two minutes and 15 seconds, the trailer is performing significantly above industry standards for Hindi movie trailers.
Additionally, the Discovery click-through rate has consistently stayed above 14 percent, nearly double the average benchmark. Maintaining such a high rate while expanding to newer audiences is considered highly unusual in digital marketing trends.
Typically, click-through rates tend to decline as impressions increase and content reaches viewers beyond the core fan base. However, “Bandar” appears to be defying that pattern, indicating rising curiosity among viewers and strong support from YouTube’s algorithm.
The makers at Saffron MagicWorks reiterated that the trailer’s engagement has been entirely driven by genuine audience interest without artificial boosting tactics.
With strong organic traction and growing online conversations, “Bandar” is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about Hindi film trailer launches in recent years.
