Bollywood actress, filmmaker and member of Parliament, Kangana Ranaut, is now entering the hospitality industry with her new high-end café, The Mountain Story, in Manali, Himachal Pradesh.Set to open on February 14 on Valentine’s Day, the café reflects her love for the mountains and passion for food.
In an Instagram post, Kangana described it as a "childhood dream come alive" and a tribute to her mother’s home-cooked meals and traditional Himachali cuisine.
Designed by architect Shabnam Gupta, the café blends rustic Himalayan charm with modern elegance. The interiors feature wood and stone, large windows, and a cozy fireplace, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The café is also decorated with traditional Himachali artefacts.The menu offers a mix of local dishes, like Himachali thali, along with international favourites such as pizza, pasta and cakes.
Located 66 miles from her hometown, the café provides a peaceful retreat for both locals and tourists.
Its outdoor seating offers stunning views of the Himalayas, making it a perfect spot for relaxation.Despite facing delays and financial setbacks, Kangana’s determination has made the café a reality.(UNI)
