Salim Khan Makes First Public Appearance After Hospitalisation in Salman Khan’s Eid Greeting
Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan made his first public appearance after a recent hospitalisation as he joined his son Salman Khan in greeting fans outside their residence, Galaxy Apartments, on the occasion of Eid.
The father-son duo was accompanied by family members including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Sushila Charak, and sisters Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan Sharma, as they waved to a large crowd gathered outside their Mumbai home.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Salman wrote, “Eid Mubarak. Thank you very much for your blessings. Dad is back home, thank you.”
Salim Khan, who appeared in a wheelchair, received an enthusiastic response from fans who had been waiting to see him after his discharge from hospital.
The 90-year-old, one half of the iconic Salim-Javed, had been admitted to the ICU at Lilavati Hospital on February 17 and was placed on ventilator support as a precaution. He was discharged after nearly four weeks of treatment.
Continuing his long-standing Eid tradition, Salman greeted fans from his balcony, waving and blowing flying kisses from behind bulletproof glass installed after a past firing incident outside the building.
