6,500 Students Create Stunning Human Rangoli in Ahmedabad

Human rangoli in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad witnessed a spectacular display of patriotism and unity as around 6,500 students came together to create a grand seven-colour human rangoli at the GMDC Ground. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was present at the special event organised under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, carrying the message ‘Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang’.

The event was organised to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service, good governance and dedication.

Massive Student Participation

The programme was jointly organised by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and the Ahmedabad Municipal Primary Education Committee. Around 6,500 students from various schools, colleges and educational institutions across the city participated enthusiastically.

During the event, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel interacted with the students who formed the human rangoli and encouraged them.

Seven-Colour Human Rangoli Depicts India

Students participating in the unique human rangoli arranged themselves in groups representing seven colours — orange, yellow, red, purple, green, blue and white.

Together, they formed a large and visually striking representation of the map of India, along with a human formation symbolising national pride and unity.

The participation of thousands of students and the vibrant combination of colours transformed the entire GMDC Ground into a spectacular display of patriotism.

Garba Performance Adds Cultural Touch

The event also showcased Gujarat’s rich cultural heritage alongside the patriotic theme. A captivating Garba performance dedicated to Maa Amba, accompanied by traditional music, created a devotional atmosphere at the venue and enthralled those present.

Ministers, Leaders and Officials Attend

The grand event was attended by Minister of State for Urban Development Darshanaben Vaghela, Mayor Hiteshbhai Barot, MPs Dineshbhai Makwana and Hasmukhbhai Patel.

Several MLAs, including Amitbhai Thakar, Dineshsinh Kushwaha, Jitubhai Patel, Harshadbhai Patel, Amulbhai Bhatt, Dr Hasmukhbhai Patel, Kaushikbhai Jain and Kanchanben Radadiya, were also present.

Deputy Mayor Anjubaben Shah, Municipal Commissioner Banchhanidhi Pani, senior officials, political leaders, teachers and a large number of students also attended the programme. ALSO READ: Ahmedabad Navratri 2026: No Loudspeakers After Midnight! Check 44 New Police Rules for Garba
