Gujarat Assembly Monsoon Session to be held from September 8 to 10

Gujarat Assembly
The Gujarat government has officially announced that the monsoon session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly will be held from September 8 to September 10. The official notification was issued after the Governor convened the session of the 15th Gujarat Legislative Assembly.

The three-day session is expected to witness intense political activity, with both the ruling party and the opposition preparing to raise several key issues.

Providing details about the session, Gujarat Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary said that legislators will be able to submit their questions to the Assembly either online or in person until August 20.

He also stated that an important meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will be held on September 6, two days before the commencement of the session. During the meeting, the agenda and schedule of the Assembly proceedings will be finalised. ALSO READ: Manjalpur gives BJP only solace in by polls with a thumping victory margin

Several important government bills and legislative proposals are expected to be introduced during the three-day session. At the same time, opposition parties are preparing to corner the government over a range of public concerns and unresolved state issues, which could lead to intense debates inside the House.

Political observers believe that matters related to governance, infrastructure, agriculture and public welfare are likely to dominate the discussions.
