GPSC Exam Update: Postponed Recruitment Test Rescheduled for August 1

GPSC Exam Rescheduled
The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has announced a new date for the examination that was postponed due to heavy rainfall across Ahmedabad and several parts of Gujarat. The revised schedule brings relief to thousands of candidates who had been waiting for an official update.

The commission had earlier deferred the examination that was scheduled for July 26 after severe rainfall caused waterlogging and disrupted transportation across the state. The decision was taken to ensure the safety of candidates and prevent travel-related difficulties.

GPSC Exam to Be Conducted on August 1

According to the latest notification issued by GPSC, the postponed examination will now be held on August 1. The exam is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM, and all registered candidates are advised to appear as per the revised timetable.

Recruitment for 34 Cadres

The examination is being conducted to recruit candidates for 34 different cadres/categories under the Gujarat Public Service Commission. Due to continuous heavy rain in many districts, road connectivity was severely affected, making it difficult for candidates to reach their examination centres. Considering these circumstances, the commission decided to postpone the exam. ALSO READ: Gujarat Police Hailed for Heroic Flood Rescue in Valsad, Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi Shares Video
