Wow, now an app to help in the registration of Voter ID!
Patna: Bihar election department has launched ERONet, a web-based app to facilitate voters. People can get register for voter ID and get details of voter card changed online under this system, Bihar Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Vivekanand Jha said yesterday that the system would also check inaccuracy and duplicity of votes. He said that people could apply all through the year through this app.
He said through the system, all 36 Chief Electoral Officers, 661 district election officers and 7500 electoral registration officers would be connected. To create awareness about the new system, district election officers cum district magistrates and other election officers had been imparted training throughout the state. (UNI)
