Puducherry: Unable to bear the agony of the suicide of his lover, a 21-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging in his house at Reddiyarpalayam near here on Monday night.
  
According to police  Hemanath, belonging to  Hindu community, was in love with a Christian girl in their area which was objected by both the families. Dejected over this, the girl went to the house of her relative in Chennai and committed suicide on November 28.
  
Hemanath was pained to know the death of his lover and made an attempt to see her body. However, he was not allowed following which he had decided to end his life and took the extreme step.(UNI)
