Covid-19 vaccinated Anganwari worker dies
Hamirpur: A 56-year-old Anganwari woman died at a Shimla hospital on Sunday.
She was vaccinated for COVID-19, as per sources, but the main cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
The deceased, identified as Promila Devi of Saudd village of Sujanpur here, has taken the first dose of the Covid vaccine, sources said.
However, she fell ill and from a Hamirpur hospital, she was shifted to Tanda Medical hospital and later to IGMC Shimla.
Chief Medical Officer Hamirpur Dr Archana Soni has confirmed the death of Devi. Her villagers are demanding ex-gratia to the family and detailed enquiry into the death. (UNI)
