File case against Baba Ramdev, demands IMA-Aurangabad
Aurangabad: President of Aurangabad branch of Indian Medical Association, Dr Santosh Ranjalkar, on Wednesday demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should direct officials to file a case under the Epidemics Act against yoga exponent Baba Ramdev over his recent controversial statement on allopathy.
In a meeting held at IMA's office here Wednesday, presided over by Dr Ranjalkar, all the IMA member-doctors condemned Baba Ramdev's statement and raised slogans against him.
They demanded that the yoga guru should apologize for embarrassing doctors with his controversial statement.
If the government fails to file a case against him, IMA and the allopathy-practising doctors will file a case against him. (UNI)
