Foreign delegation from NILERD visits CSC for knowledge sharing on e-gov initiatives
New Delhi: Digital empowerment of common citizens of India and the role of CSC centres in this is a talking point in foreign too.
Many countries of the world want to replicate the model of CSC in their own countries. In this respect, a 29-member ministerial-level foreign delegation visited the CSC centre at Narela (North Delhi) and got information about the CSC and its services.
There after the delegation met Sanjay Rakesh, Managing Director at the Head Office of CSC-SPV. Mr. Rakesh gave them a presentation about the various services of CSC and appraised them about how CSC is making life easier for common citizens through various means.
The members of the delegation were impressed by the success of CSC and its functioning. The delegates also discussed various schemes run by their government for rural development in their respective countries and exchanged views.
This ministerial delegation is in India on a four-week visit to participate in an international training program organized at the National Institute of Labor Economics Research and Development (NILERD). Their objective is to know about the various schemes and initiatives run in the field of public policy and governance in India.
