According to reports, Ketan was engaged to Siya Goyal earlier this year in February, with both families approving the match. The couple was expected to marry in November in a grand wedding planned in Udaipur, with reports suggesting the celebrations were expected to cost around Rs.17 crore. Private jets had also allegedly been arranged for guests.
However, investigators claim that Siya was in a relationship with another Pune-based businessman, Chetan Choudhary, and was unwilling to proceed with the marriage. Police suspect that efforts had been made to delay or avoid the wedding.
