Speaking during the visit, Ranveer said his comments were intended only to praise actor-director Rishab Shetty for his powerful performance in the film.
“My intention was to highlight Rishab’s brilliant performance in the film. As an actor, I understand the hard work and dedication required to perform that particular scene. I have immense respect for his work,” he said.

For many devotees, Singh’s visit to the temple carried a deeper spiritual significance. The Chamundeshwari Temple, regarded as one of the country’s prominent Shaktipeeths, is believed by devotees to call worshippers only when the Goddess herself wills it. Many saw the actor’s visit not merely as a formal gesture, but as a moment of seeking blessings and spiritual guidance.
Ranveer Singh has often spoken publicly about faith, gratitude and staying grounded despite fame and success. His temple visit comes at a time when his professional career continues to remain in the spotlight.
