'Stop Adding Fuel to the Fire': Kangana's Blunt Message to Hrithik Roshan

Kangana Ranaut-Hrithik Roshan
Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has criticised actor Hrithik Roshan for what she described as "unreasonable comments" and accused him of encouraging online trolling directed at her.

The controversy began after Hrithik reacted to an Instagram post that read, "We need to apologise to Hrithik Roshan." The post surfaced following Kangana's recent remarks regarding student protests.

Responding to the post, Hrithik said people should avoid being influenced by social media narratives and instead rely on facts before forming opinions.

"My friend, siding with 'A' just cause you don't like 'B' anymore is a small part of the larger systemic issue plaguing our society. I'll wait, for when the context to it is the right one, and motivated by facts. That would be fair. But then again, who cares anymore right," he wrote.

Kangana later addressed the issue through a social media post, mentioning Hrithik's relationship with actress and singer Saba Azad and urging him not to encourage people who use his name to target her online. ALSO READ: Kangana Ranaut Calls CJP Protest Videos 'Puke Inducing', Dubs Gen Z 'Generation Gutter'; Faces Backlash

In her statement, she wrote, "Dear Hrithik, I am happy that you have found your perfect match, Saba Azad, and you both look great together. You are in a committed relationship, and it doesn’t suit you to tease a woman like this. Instead, you should condemn all those who are harassing and bullying me using your name. Stop adding fuel to the fire and embarrassing your partner. I hope better sense prevails and you stop making unreasonable comments."

The latest exchange comes after CJP's Saurav Das claimed that Kangana had targeted him because some people thought he resembled a younger Hrithik Roshan.

Saurav said, "My friends were texting me and asking, 'Why is she after your life?' One of them said that I may look a little like a young Hrithik Roshan. This is what my friends told me. I was pleasantly surprised. Why should someone like her attack someone like me?"

The episode reignited discussions surrounding the highly publicised legal dispute between Kangana and Hrithik in 2016, prompting the phrase "We Need to Apologise to Hrithik Roshan" to trend on social media platforms.
