Rajinikanth not to cast his vote in Nadigar Sangam polls, know why

Chennai: Actor Rajinikanth on Sunday said he would not be able to cast his vote in the Nadigar Sangam elections.

In a tweet, Rajinikanth said he was in Mumbai for a shoot and despite his efforts to receive the postal vote earlier, he received it only at 1845 hrs on Saturday.
 
“I regret that I was unable to cast my vote because of this delay. It is strange and unfortunate. This should not have happened?,” he added.
 
When asked about it, incumbent President Nasser said, “It is unfortunate. We sent postal ballots much early. We wonder why he received it late?” (UNI)
