Fastag mandatory for vehicles entering Tirumala from August 15
Tirumala: In order to provide better safety standards, prevention of overcrowding and transparent services to the devotees arriving in various vehicles at the Alipiri check point, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has announced FASTag will be made mandatory for the vehicles entering Tirumala from August 15 onwards.
Vehicles without FASTag will no longer be allowed to enter Tirumala, TTD said in a release here.
For the convenience of those without FASTag, a FASTag issuance centre has also been set up at the Alipiri check point in collaboration with ICICI Bank.

Vehicles without FASTag will be allowed to enter Tirumala only after obtaining the FASTag facility here in the shortest possible time.
