Washington: US President Donald Trump's daughter and a top adviser, Ivanka Trump has said she won't take Nikki Haley's place as ambassador to the United Nations.
"It is an honor to serve in the White House alongside so many great colleagues and I know that the President will nominate a formidable replacement for Ambassador Haley," Ivanka Trump said after the president spurred speculation that he would name her to the post. "That replacement will not be me."Ivanka made the remarks after Nikki Haley announced that she was leaving the job at the end of the year, according to Times of Israel.
As per the reports, President Trump is considering Egyptian-born former Deputy National Security Adviser Dina Powell as the next US ambassador, who is a close ally of Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner. (UNI)
